Estee Lauder Pure Color gloss - Mod Poppy Review

Hello again! Today I am going to review the Estee Lauder Pure Color gloss in Mod Poppy. This lip gloss is probably the most expensive one I own. However it fails to be my favorite :( Overall I will give this product 2.5 out of 5 stars.








Pros

- Hmm..... Well the packaging is nice and sleek, and it is good quality.

- I quite like the scent although others might think it smells like rich old ladies.


Cons

Although it was a gift, this product is way too expensive for the quality of the gloss. You are basically paying for the brand name which is reasonable for it being Estee Lauder. At our retailer, this gloss was around $25.

- It is slightly sticky which in my opinion is unacceptable for it being $25.

- The color is quite nice and sheer but I was expecting a little more color pay off.


**Overall, I would not repurchase this or recommend this to a friend. Maybe I would have if it was a long lasting lipstick, but all glosses usually rub off after a few hours or from eating, so I believe it is not worth the money. Also there are, in my opinion, lots of the same quality or even better lip glosses at the drugstore for half the price. These are my thoughts on the Estee Lauder Pure Color gloss.
